Even when the right side of the brain primarily controls the left side of body, and the left brain controls a large part, the right side of the body, being ambidextrous indicates that the two halves of the brain have become so completely specialized as they are in right-handed individuals. In young children, each side of the brain has, potentially, the power of speech and language. An injury to the left in the first years of life, results in the development of the faculty of language on the right side of the brain.
There are many theories on how the hemispheres affect how a person thinks.
One theory divides thinkers into two camps: visual simultaneous and sequential lineales. According to this hypothesis, most skilled people (to use her left brain) process information in a "linear sequential" in which a scheme must complete its processing before they can begin the next.
Instead, says the hypothesis, individuals whose right hemisphere is dominant, process the information with "visual simultaneous" mode in which several schemes are processed simultaneously.
